Fabric grade hot melt adhesive film is a thermoplastic adhesive in a film form designed to bond textiles and substrates without sewing or liquid adhesives. It activates on heat and pressure, forming strong, flexible bonds that withstand laundering, flexing, and everyday wear.
It is widely used in the garment, footwear, automotive textile, and technical textile industries due to its consistent thickness, ease of application, and clean handling compared to powder or liquid adhesives.
 Description
Fabric grade hot melt adhesive film is:
-
A solid, flexible film of thermoplastic adhesive
-
Typically based on EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate), Polyamide (PA), or other engineered polymer blends
-
Designed for heat–assisted lamination/bonding
-
Available in various sizes and thicknesses. Available upto 80 inches in width and starts from 12 in thickness.
This adhesive melts when heated (e.g., in a heat press, laminator, or ultrasonic system) and bonds fabrics and compatible substrates when cooled under pressure.
